Terra Mala, Living With Poison

Terra Mala reveals the land degradation, denouncing the conditions in which child, women and men, are forced to live every day. This land is full of illegal landfills, piles of underground poisons and garbage.

Drawing on investigations about “ecomafia” issue – that, in the 1990, brought to light the treaty among political local class, camorra and P2 – Stefano Schirato retraces the deterioration of this geographic area.

Terra Mala on one hand documents the land’s deterioration; while, on the other hand, shows the courage of its people who chose to resist and fight for their homeland and a better life.
